Based on the trusted Agricultural Engineering programme formerly delivered by Massey University and updated by MPNZ, this course gives you the complete toolkit for designing farm water reticulation systems. From stockwater to dairy sheds and domestic supplies, you will learn how to design efficient, compliant, and cost-effective systems using real-world examples, hands-on tutorials, and purpose-built Excel calculators. This course complements the MPNZ Farm Dairy Effluent Hydraulic Design course.

Participants who successfully complete this course and the related assignments will be awarded NZQA Unit Standards 29159 (Demonstrate knowledge of farm water reticulation design methods, Level 4, 5 credits) and 29160 (Apply knowledge of design methods to design a farm water reticulation system, Level 4, 10 credits), plus a NZMPTA Certificate of Achievement in Farm Water Reticulation Design.
